The illustrator of the soon to be released The Adventures of Little Britches
Jessica Heinzen is an artist, horse trainer and bunny enthusiast who is currently pursuing a degree in Structual Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She grew up in Wyoming and much of her art is inspired by her love for animals and the beauty of Creation.



Anita Tuchman is the proud grandmother of Alex Tuchman and Little Britches (shown in photo below.) She is an educator and reading specialist who spent decades inspiring students and educators from kindergarten through graduate school.

With 15 books and more than 650 articles to his credit, Tom Moates is a leading equestrian author and journalist.
Alex Tuchman is a beekeeper, educator, farmer, and writer. As the Director of 
“Momprenuer” Stacy Krems established the family business Sweet Rolling Pins along side her husband, Kurt in the mid-2010s. Half a decade later, they are still successfully rolling out the rolling pins from the family farm in rural Colorado along with their daughter and two dogs.

Caran Jantzen is a homesteader, mother, wife and writer on five acres in the southwestern corner of British Columbia, Canada. Caran, her husband Mr. Green Thumb and their four sprouts enjoy working and learning together, both outside in their large vegetable garden and with the animals they raise, as well as in the kitchen processing the abundance of food that they produce. When not working around the homestead or on her laptop, Caran can be found relaxing with a good book, or entertaining family and friends while serving up their homegrown food.


Jack Knox hails from Ettrick Valley, Scotland, a rural expanse of the Scottish/Anglo border region, that region being the very namesake of the dog that has shaped Jack’s life: the Border Collie. Jack is a celebrated herding dog trainer, renowned for his unique approach to training that cultivates a dog’s intelligence and instincts to herd rather than tightly controlling a dog’s movements. Jack’s work with dogs brought him to the United States in 1971 where he has enjoyed a long, illustrious career that includes founding Ettrick Kennels, teaching herding dog clinics across North America, winning many dog trials including the USBCHA National Finals, and in 2003 being inducted into the America Border Collie Association Hall of Fame. Jack and his wife,Kathy, also a distinguished herding dog trainer, live in Butler, Missouri.
