Caran Jantzen is a homesteader, mother, wife and writer on five acres in the southwestern corner of British Columbia, Canada. Caran, her husband Mr. Green Thumb and their four sprouts enjoy working and learning together, both outside in their large vegetable garden and with the animals they raise, as well as in the kitchen processing the abundance of food that they produce. When not working around the homestead or on her laptop, Caran can be found relaxing with a good book, or entertaining family and friends while serving up their homegrown food.
